Vienna Vikings sign local legend Dustin Illetschko and IPP player Leo Misangumukini

The Vienna Vikings add two impact players before the August 2nd, signing deadline. Two-time NFL IPP attendee and defensive lineman Leo Misangukumini will re-join the Vienna Vikings after spending last season with the Dresden Monarchs.

Besides him, a Vienna legend is coming back to the Vikings. Dustin Illetschko is coming out of retirement for one last dance with his old team. Illetschko is considered an icon in Austrian football and many linebackers like Precious Ogbevoen mention him as one of their idols. The former Vikings and national team captain was supposed to take the field for the champs last year but suffered a knee injury in pre-season.

Vikings' head coach Chris Calaycay is happy to bring in two new impact players:

"We are welcoming two great athletes to play with us in the European League of Football. Dustin and Leo will strengthen our team heading into the end of the season. Both of these men bring a lot of talent and experience and are ready to hit the field for the first time in the coming weeks."
