The final home game of the 2023 European League of Football season will be played by the defending champions from Vienna at the Generali Arena. Whether the Vikings will make the first or the second seed, head coach Chris Calaycay's team will fight for a place in the final of the ELF. After a brilliant home opener with almost 7,000 visitors in the Generali Arena in June, the stadium will now also serve as the venue for the semifinals.

Excited for the semifinal
„I know the team is excited to play the final home game of the season in the Generali Arena. Since we joined the European League of Football, we are unbeaten in the beautiful home of the FK Austria Wien. And we are determined to remain undefeated at home. We can’t wait to play in front of thousands of fans at the Generali Arena. The home opener with almost 7000 fans in the stands was an absolute highlight of the season for all of us. Let’s see whom we will face in this special playoff game,“ said head coach Chris Calaycay.
Entertaining football festival
"It's the perfect setting to celebrate our semi-final match as a huge and entertaining football festival with the whole community. There is no doubt that thousands of fans and sports enthusiasts are looking forward to seeing the reigning European champions live in Vienna for the last time this year. Top football meets top entertainment”, says Co-Managing Director and Gameday Officer Lukas Leitner.
