The Top 100 Players of 2023 will be reveiled more and more every two days in the month of November. We will be releasing the Top 100 graded players of the season 2023 according to SportsMetrics. The grades reflect the individual's performance on the field.

Short first ELF season

Maceo Beard had signed with the Berlin Thunder for the 2022 season, before getting selected in the 2022 CFL Global Draft, joining the Saskatchewan Roughriders. After getting cut, Beard returned to the Thunder, where he recorded two interceptions in four games during the regular season.

Historic 2023 season

After signing with the Helvetic Guards for the 2023 season, Maceo Beard proved to be arguably the best signing of the offseason. The French cornerback went on a historic run, intercepting eight passes, crushing the former single-season record of six. Beard also recorded 40 total tackles, three tackles for loss, blocked a kick, broke up 12 passes and returned two of his picks for touchdowns. He was selected as a First-Team All-Star and won the Defensive Player of the Year, ending Kyle Kitchens streak of two straight wins.
