Top 100 Players of 2023, No. 2: Chad Jeffries

The Top 100 Players of 2023 will be revealed more and more every two days in the month of November. We will be releasing the Top 100 graded players of the season 2023 according to SportsMetrics. The grades reflect the individual's performance on the field.

Starting with a bang

Chad Jeffries started his ELF career with a bang, completing over 70% of his passes, throwing for 378 yards and four touchdowns without an interception in his league debut against the Tirol Raiders. After a week two bye, Jeffries doubled down on his performance, throwing for over 400 yards and five touchdowns against the Helvetic Guards.

MVP caliber season

The longtime Danube Dragon just kept dominating for the rest of the season, leading John Shoop’s offense while ranking second in every category, and almost a playoff berth for the Ravens. Jeffries ended the season with a completion percentage of 69.85, 3535 passing yards, 30 passing touchdowns and just five interceptions. Add in 363 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, and you got yourself one of the most impressive campaigns ever played by a QB in the ELF. It comes to no surprise that the Ravens quarterback was a Second-Team All-Star and an MVP nominee.

If it wasn’t for Jadrian Clark’s historic performance, Jeffries would have played the best season by a QB ever and taken home the MVP award. The 30-year-old is a special player, and Ravens fans should be eager to see him take the field in 2024.
