Tirol Raiders extend NFL International Combine Attendee Lucky Ogbevoen

Last year, the 23-year-old linebacker wowed fans across the European League of Football with his unmatched combination of size and athleticism. At 190cm and 101kg, the young defender is quick on his feet but also possesses enough strength to be a quality run stopper for the Austrian franchise.

“[I’m] excited to be back in silver and black,” Ogbevoen commented, via the team’s press release. “Last year’s season left a bitter taste for everyone, but we learned from our mistakes and finally got the missing pieces we need to go all the way this year.”
Raiders HC Herron: "I am extremly happy [...]"
Raiders head coach Kevin Herron is also excited to have his young linebacker for another season. “I am extremely happy that Lucky [Ogbevoen] will suit up in silver and black once again,” Herron commented. “Although he has numerous years for the [Vienna] Vikings, he is a true Raider!”
In 2022, Ogbevoen recorded was selected as the Defensive MVP by his franchise. With 79 total tackles, one-and-a-half sack, and ten tackles for loss, the young linebacker put up impressive numbers. Taking other signings by the Raiders into account, the Austrian defender should have ideal circumstances to repeat those numbers in 2023.
