The ELF's triple threat: Alpha Jalloh - Remember him?
When people think of the early days of the ELF there was one unique player who kept making plays in all three phases of the game during that magical 2021 season. That player was number 8 for the Leipzig Kings and one of the league’s best names, Alpha Jalloh.
The veteran was a true triple threat in 2021 playing offense, defense, and special teams at an extremely high level. Until teams started kicking away from him, the then 28-year-old Jalloh returned 18 kickoffs for a total of 649 yards, including one 100-yard return, for an average of 36 yards a return, with three return touchdowns.
“On the field, my favorite memory was honestly playing Berlin Thunder, the very first game. I was thankful to make history by returning the first kick return for a touchdown in ELF history. Also I have to mention, I was always grateful to play in front of our home crowd in leipzig. Our fans in 2021 were amazing.”
On defense Jalloh made 34 tackles and had two interceptions taking one back for a touchdown. Last but not least, on offense he also made some big plays catching 24 passes for 305 yards and four touchdowns. Looking at the season as a whole, Jalloh had 1,061 all purpose yards and nine total touchdowns, scoring as a returner, receiver, defender, and rusher.

Since his 2021 season Jalloh has continued his playing career in Romania and Spain before returning to Finland to be with his young daughter. Jalloh continues to be a force on the field, this time for the Wasa Royals in the Finnish Maple League.
“Since then, I had a daughter in Finland where I live and play football for the only team that I have ever played for in Finland. The Wasa Royals.”
Off the field, Jalloh is a father, entrepreneur, and student.
“I love being a dad to my daughter. She is very smart, beautiful, and growing too fast. Outside of football Joc Crawford and I run a small Sport company called "Ballers International". We host football camps, mentor athletes, and highlight athletes around the world. I am also in school learning how to build homes.”
