"Symbol of our roots" - Frankfurt Galaxy switch team colors

After a disappointing ELF 2024 season, Frankfurt Galaxy wants to regain its former strength. The motto for the upcoming season is “Galaxy Reloaded”. To represent this, the team from the West Division choose a special approach.

In the future, the Galaxy's visual identity and logo will feature the color orange. This is not a debut, but rather a return. Orange, which stood for energy, momentum and passion, already appeared in the Galaxy's visual identity during their successful times in NFL Europe.

“This return is more than just a visual rebrand - it's a bold statement of legacy, local pride, and the continued evolution of one of Europe's most storied football franchises,” a statement from the franchise says.

"We want to bring our history back to life"

When the team joined the European League of Football in 2021, the orange disappeared from their visual identity. Frankfurt Galaxy wanted to be modernized. 

Now the change. The decision to go back to the classic Orange was based on fans requests and is both an emotional and strategic move.

“We want to bring our history back to life while channeling the spirit of NFL Europe into the present day,” says Eric Reutemann, CEO of Frankfurt Galaxy about the reasons for the comeback. He adds: “Orange is a symbol of our roots - and of our determination to set the standard in this league today.”

The new or better say old color will be seen in the jerseys, merchandise and on the digital platforms of Frankfurt Galaxy.
