Surge secure playoff spot - but lose quarterbacks

With their decisive 51-18 victory against the Milano Seamen, the Stuttgart Surge have clinched their playoff spot in Week 11. In a game that was never in doubt, the Surge quickly showed that the win could only go to them.

Victory at a high price

However, late in the game, two injuries caused some big concerns. Not only did starting quarterback Reilly Hennessey get injured, but backup quarterback Lars Heidrich also went down. Although Wide Receiver Yannick Mayr, who stepped in as quarterback for the remainder of the game, was able to safely see it through, questions arise about a potential quarterback problem for the Surge. An injured or even banged-up Reilly Hennessey could jeopardize the Surge's so-far perfect season.

With their victory, they now have a record of 9-0 and in Week 12, they have the chance to become conference champions.
