In a commanding Week 1 performance of the 2025 European League of Football season, Berlin Thunder's quarterback Jakeb Sullivan led his team to an impressive 63–14 victory over the Cologne Centurions. Sullivan completed 22 of 24 passes, producing 413 yards and throwing seven touchdowns without any interceptions, achieving an impressive 91.7% completion rate. His precise passing and strategic decision-making were instrumental in Berlin's offensive dominance, contributing to a total of 576 yards and 10 successful third-down conversions.
QB Sullivan - Chemistry as the key for production
Sullivan's chemistry with his receivers was evident, with standout performances from wideouts Ben Goggin, who recorded seven receptions for 166 yards and two touchdowns, Niklas Schumm with two scores as well. If the Berlin Thunder keep their game up, they have a legitimate chance of being a threat in the North Division.
