Stuttgart Surge want to make biggest comeback happen
It's a fairy tale what happened in Stuttgart this season. With head coach Jordan Neuman and his staff came success, after two very disappointing years in the southern German city. After 12 games, they have a 10-2 record and a conference win over the Raiders or Ravens. The team seems retreaded with interlocking gears.
Defensively, looking at Johannes Brenner's units, the Surge has playmakers like Kaylan Kearse-Thomas or Goran Zec able to compete at the highest level. Even homegrowns are showing their true potential in Nick Wenzelburger or Sasan Jelvani. Though, ranking in the middle of the pack in all major categories, against a well rounded Panthers' attack, some adjustments have to be made.
On offense, the Surge can rely on Louis Geyer or Darrell Stewart Jr., while Reilly Hennessey has yet to show his class in the most important games for the Surge. This game could come down to some last minute points. It would be the biggest success in Surge history.
