One of the league’s best defenses
In their very first season in the European League of Football, Noble built the Storm defense into one of the best units in the league. His group finished ranked fourth against both the run and the pass, showing strong balance across the board. When it comes to points allowed, the Storm were even more impressive: across the whole regular season they gave up only 201 points, the third-best mark in the ELF.
General Manager Bjørn Stadil emphasized the importance of this move: "It is with great excitement and pride that we announce the re-signing of our Defensive Coordinator, Brandon Noble, for the 2026 season! Brandon has been instrumental in building the dominant force that is our defense, and we couldn’t be happier to continue this journey with him at the helm. At Nordic Storm, we believe in consistency, character, and building with the right people - and Brandon embodies all of that and more. Re-signing him was a top priority for us as we look to strengthen the foundation we laid in 2025. Alongside Head Coach John Shoop, we are confident that our team is in the best possible hands as we push forward. Building the future of professional football in Scandinavia, and with this re-signing the Storm is only getting stronger."
With this extension, the Storm are laying an early cornerstone for a successful second season. It is not only a sign of trustin Coach Noble, but also an extra motivation boost for the upcoming playoff game against Rhein Fire.
