The Frankfurt Galaxy have secured another franchise victory: Former Eintracht Frankfurt captain Sebastian Rode will be a shareholder and brand ambassador for the Galaxy.

As a Frankfurt soccer legend, Rode knows his way around the Frankfurt sports world and especially the Waldstadion. With his fighting spirit and ambition, which he has always shown on the soccer pitch, and his experience in professional sports, he wants to support the young team in building up the franchise.

Connecting soccer and Amerian Football

A mix of different marketing measures is also planned as part of the cooperation. Among other things, a "Main Frankfurt"-video series is expected, which fans have already been able to see with Galaxy brand ambassador Vega.

In the video, Rode will show "his" Frankfurt to one of the Galaxy newcomers. In addition, there will be further social media campaigns in which Rode will be brought closer to football through various challenges and explanatory videos, giving his social media followers insights into the world of American football.

"I'm very much looking forward to the cooperation. American Football is a passion of mine since quite a while. I want to contribute, to develop this sports in the Rhine-Main-area and support the Galaxy on their way back to the Waldstadion", Rode said.

Rode and Vega as ambassadors

The partnership between the Europa League champion in soccer and the European League of Football franchise is not the only thing Frankfurt fans can look forward to. In addition to Rode, the rapper Vega has already been announced as a brand ambassador. Another partner will follow shortly, who will dominate the design and fashion sector alongside sports and music.

The franchise has already come up with a small welcome gift for Rode's fans for the next home game on Saturday, July 13, at 6 p.m. CET against the Cologne Centurions. All Eintracht season ticket holders will be invited to the home game and can secure free standing tickets.
