The Hamburg Sea Devils have officially set the venue for their highly anticipated matchup against long-time rivals, the Berlin Thunder. On June 7, 2025, the Sea Devils will host their second home game of the season at Stadion Hoheluft, a stadium known for its intense atmosphere and thrilling football action.

This game carries extra emotional weight, not just because of the rivalry, but also due to the presence of Kyle Kitchens, last year’s Defensive Player of the Year. Kitchens, who played for Berlin Thunder for the past three seasons, was twice named the league’s best defensive player and selected for the First All-Star Team in all three years. Now wearing the Sea Devils' jersey, he will face his former team for the first time - adding even more excitement to an already heated showdown.

After last season, we aim to come back even stronger in 2025 - and with our fans behind us, this historic rivalry with Berlin Thunder will be an absolute highlight."

Over the years, Stadion Hoheluft has been the stage for many unforgettable battles between these two franchises. Fans from both sides will be eager to see if this game lives up to the history of this fierce rivalry.
