However, in the most crucial game of the of the day it was Justus Seelig of the Madrid Bravos who carried his team to a crucial win.
Superstar Seelig
Seelig reminded fans of Brian Westbrook or Austin Ekeler as he was a dynamic runner and receiver out of the backfield today. Seelig caught 8 passes for 89 yards and two touchdowns, and even added a 2 point conversion for good measure. But he was most impressive as a runner averaging a eye-popping 9.25 yards a carry rushing for 148 yards on the day on only 18 carries. Seelig's dominance really showed in the third quarter as the Bravos pulled away from the Raiders in a must win game.
The win by was enourmous for the Bravos playoff chances as the season is now a two-week sprint until the playoffs start. They now sit second in the South Divison with a 7-3 record.
