Rhein Fire face undefeated Nordic Storm in a must win game
Alex Malchow

The Rhein Fire go on the road this week to take on the undefeated Nordic Storm in Copenhagen. The back-to-back champions sit at a surprisingly disappointing 4-3 and are currently fighting for their playoff lives.
Can the Rhein Fire reignite?
Last week was perhaps a low moment of the season as the Fire lost to the Raiders Tirol in Innsbruck. The loss put them out of the playoffs if they started today but still very much in the hunt. In order to be one of the 6 teams in the post season the Fire will need to be almost perfect down the stretch.
Are the Nordic Storm untested?
The Nordic Storm are the only undefeated team left in the ELF this season with a 5-0 record. However, they haven’t played a 2024 playoff team so far this season. This weekend will be their first true test as they go against a Rhein Fire team looking to put a mark on the Storm’s perfect record. Last week the Storm nearly lost to a Hamburg Sea Devils team that has struggled this season, showing perhaps the Storm aren't as good as thier record seems.
Remember me?
The Nordic Storm feature several former Rhein Fire players. None other than 2X champion and former MVP quarterback Jadrian Clark now of the Nordic Storm will face off against his old squad this weekend. Other former Rhein Fire team members that are now with the Storm include Glen Toonga, Joachim Christensen, Max Parkinson, Emmanuel Falola, and head coach John Schoop.
