Record-breaking season: Cruickshank makes history
Felix Pahl

Aron Cruickshank, the American wide receiver of the Madrid Bravos, has been making headlines since the start of the season. In every game, he has consistently racked up big yardage, caused major problems for opposing defenses, and scored crucial touchdowns. Together with his Bravos teammates, Cruickshank helped secure a decisive win against the Raiders Tirol in Week 11, putting Madrid in an excellent position for the playoffs.
Chasing multiple records
In Week 11, Cruickshank added one receiving and one rushing touchdown, bringing him even closer to history. With that receiving touchdown, he broke the single-season receiving touchdown record. But he isn’t done yet. After adding 93 receiving yards in the game, he is now just 124 yards away from tying Markell Castle’s single-season receiving yards record of 1,580 yards.
It doesn’t stop there - Cruickshank is also closing in on the single-season receptions record. He currently sits at 99 receptions, just 16 shy of tying Kyle Sweet’s record of 115, which was set in 2022 with the Barcelona Dragons.

A season to remember
Cruickshank’s performance has been nothing short of exceptional, making him one of the most dominant players in the European League of Football this season. If he continues at this pace, he could rewrite multiple records in just one year. For the Madrid Bravos, his success could be the key to pushing deep into the playoffs and proving themselves as true contenders.
With two crucial games left on the schedule, all eyes will be on Cruickshank as he chases history - and aims to carry the Bravos toward a strong postseason run.
