Looking back at 2024
In 2024, the Ravens and Raiders played a "win and in" game in week 14. The winner went on to the playoffs while the other packed their bags for the off-season. Munich crushed the Raiders playoff hopes and unceremoniously ended their season in a rain soaked game in bavaria.
Rematch from Week 1
This year, the Ravens did beat the Raiders at home way back in Week 1. However, both teams have changed significantly since then. The Raiders are now led by new and old quarterback N’Kosi Perry, while the Ravens improved their record to an impressive 7-1 with several budding players.
What this game means for both teams
The Ravens would love to win this game as they hope to hold on to the 2nd seed and have a bye week during the first round of the playoffs. On the other hand, the Raiders need a win to fend off several in the hunt teams that are right behind them hoping to sneak in and take the final playoff spot.
The rivals will face off Saturday at 18:00 CET in Tivoli Stadium in Innsbruck Austria.
