Raiders sign new QB1! Conor Miller returns to ELF

The Tirol Raiders are one of the last teams to sign their starting quarterback for the upcoming season. After a one-year break, Conor Miller returns to the European League of Football. This means that only the Hamburg Sea Devils and Cologne Centurions are still looking for a new QB1.

The 29-year-old already played for the Leipzig Kings in 2022, for whom he appeared in three games. In 2023, he moved to the Barcelona Dragons as starting quarterback. He played a total of ten ELF games, in which he threw 220 passes for 2482 yards and 18 touchdowns. He can also look back on a passing accuracy of 56.27 percent and ten interceptions.

“I am so excited to be a Raider. I am looking foward to a great season, to get to know my teammates, coaches, staff and fans. And to bring wins to Tirol. Let’s go RAIDERS”, says the 29,years-old about his new chapter with the Raiders Tirol.

General Manager Ulz Däuber is delighted about the signing: “I'm extremely excited about bringing Conor to the Raiders Tirol. He is an outstanding leader and brings a wealth of experience in Europe with him. With Conor at the helm of our offense, I can't wait to see them in action.”

European journey starts early

Miller began his football career in 2011 at the American Heritage High School in Florida. After another year at Cypress Bay High School, he attended Mount San Antonio Junior College in California from 2015.

In 2016, he transferred to El Camino Junior College before moving on to the NCAA Division I University of Florida Atlantic in 2017. In total, Miller gained four years of college football experience.

Miller already started his journey to Europe in 2019. Here he played for Cologne Crododiles, Graz Giants and Flash de Courneuve. After his chapter in the ELF, he played for the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns in the German Football League last season. Here he threw for 2014 yards, 28 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
