The Tirol Raiders are strengthening their defensive line. For this purpose, they have signed Dušan Novaković, who most recently played for the Wroclaw Panthers.

 "Dusan athletic ablities are through the roof. With him, we add speed and playmaking ability to our defense", explains Raiders General Manager Ulz Däuber. This ability earned the experienced 26-year-old 44 tackles last season, including 8.5 for loss and 2.5 sacks.

"Ten years ago, as a junior, it was the first time I have heard about this team, and actually imagined about playing for", remembers Novaković. He adds: "Now I am a part of the Raiders. I’m really grateful for this opportunity and that I get to compete for the greatest achievement in European football."

Originally from Serbia, Novaković has already experienced a lot of European American football. He has already played for teams from Serbia, Poland, Germany, Spain and Switzerland. In the 2022 and 2024 seasons, he played for the Wroclaw Panthers in the European League of Football.
