Quinten Pounds returns as offensive coordinator for Cologne Centurions

The Cologne Centurions welcome back former standout wide receiver Quinten Pounds as their new offensive coordinator. Having played a crucial role for the team in the European League of Football back in 2021 and 2022, Pounds now transitions from the field to the sidelines to lead the offense in Cologne.

A Proven Talent - How will he fare as a coach?

Pounds, a former University of Washington receiver, joined the Centurions in 2021 and quickly became a key player. Over two seasons, he recorded 1,678 receiving yards and 21 touchdowns, earning team MVP honors in 2022. After a brief stint with the Reds de la Ciudad de México in the LFA, he returns to Cologne in a leadership role; this time as a coach.

A New Era for Cologne

Bringing firsthand experience and deep knowledge of the team's first-ever system, Pounds aims to revitalize the Centurions’ offense. His transition to coaching is expected to provide continuity and innovation, offering fresh strategies to push the team forward. Will this switch at offensive coordinator provide a spark for the Centurions offense going into the 2025 season?
