Prague Lions at Fehérvár Enthroners will not take place

Statement by the European League of Football:

The Prague Lions ownership group informed the European League of Football late Friday night that a majority of the team has voted not to play Sunday's game at Fehérvár Enthroners. The league regrets this decision and anticipates that franchise officials will resolve all outstanding issues over the course of the upcoming week and the Prague Lions team to resume play. The game scheduled for Sunday will not take place and will be scored 35-0 in favor of the Fehérvár Enthroners.

Statement by the Prague Lions:

Dear fans, partners, and supporters,

With a heavy heart, we must inform you that we have made the difficult decision to cancel our upcoming game scheduled in Fehérvár, Hungary this Sunday. The Prague Lions have been going through significant staff and management changes this week, which regrettably prevented us from traveling to fulfill our commitment.

We deeply understand and acknowledge the potential consequences that this decision may have on our franchise moving forward. Please know that we are taking this matter very seriously and are doing everything within our power to get back on track as quickly as possible.

We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences and troubles that our cancellation has caused, not just for our devoted fans, but also for the European League of Football and especially the Fehérvár Enthroners organization, who had invested considerable effort and preparation for this anticipated match.

We want to emphasize that we are fully committed to resolving our internal issues and are working tirelessly on all fronts to ensure we can resume playing through the season. Your support means everything to us, and we deeply regret letting you down.

Please know that we will keep you informed about our progress and any updates regarding future games. Once again, we extend our sincerest apologies and promise to make every effort to come back stronger and better.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Sincerely,
Prague Lions
