As the European League of Football heads into the final stretch of the regular season, Week 11 brought big changes to the playoff picture. With two more divisions decided and several teams making strong statements, the race for the postseason is heating up. Here’s a breakdown of where things stand after an action-packed weekend.

Semi-Finalists

#1 Vienna Vikings (9-1)

The Vienna Vikings have once again proven their dominance. With a win over the Fehérvár Enthroners, they secured the East Division title - their fourth consecutive division championship. Thanks to their victory and the Nordic Storm’s loss, the Vikings now sit at the top seed in the playoffs. If the season ended today, they would head straight to the semifinals and enjoy home-field advantage.

#2 Munich Ravens (9-1)

The Munich Ravens are flying high. With a strong victory over the Wroclaw Panthers, they clinched the South Division and, like the Vikings, overtook the Nordic Storm in the standings. At 9-1, Munich has solidified itself as one of the league’s top contenders.

Wildcard Round

#6 Rhein Fire (6-4) at #3 Nordic Storm (9-1)

Rhein Fire maintained its grip on the sixth seed with a dominant win over the Berlin Thunder. If the playoffs started today, they would face the Nordic Storm, who slipped to third after their surprising loss to the Frankfurt Galaxy. The Storm trail Vienna and Munich due to the strength of victory tiebreaker but remain one of the most dangerous teams in the league.

#5 Madrid Bravos (7-3) at #4 Stuttgart Surge (8-2)

The Madrid Bravos continue their playoff march. With a statement win against the Raiders Tirol, they improved to 7-3 and gained a perfect setup for their tough remaining games against Munich and Frankfurt. The Stuttgart Surge, despite missing quarterback Reilly Hennessey, cruised past the Hamburg Sea Devils and reminded everyone why they are among the league’s elite. Their goal for Week 13: clinch the West Division and fight for an even better playoff seed.

In the hunt

The playoff picture isn’t set yet. The Paris Musketeers, Frankfurt Galaxy, Raiders Tirol, Prague Lions, and Wroclaw Panthers are all still alive. Each of these teams will need strong performances in the final two weeks to keep their postseason hopes alive.

The final stretch

With just two weeks left in the regular season, the stakes couldn’t be higher. Will the top seeds hold their positions? Can an underdog force its way into the playoffs? One thing is certain: every snap matters from here on out.
