Craig Kuligowski takes over as head coach of Wroclaw Panthers

The start of the season did not go as planned for the Wroclaw Panthers. With playoff ambitions, they now stand at a negative record of 2-4 after six weeks. In a tough conference and what is likely the most competitive season in the ELF, this is not enough to make the playoffs. Following another defeat to the Vienna Vikings, the Panthers decided to make changes not only at the quarterback position but also at the head coach position.

Dave Christensen, who had led the franchise as head coach since the beginning of the 2023 season, is beeing replaced by defensive coordinator Craig Kuligowski. Kuligowski will continue to serve as the defensive coordinator while taking on his new role as head coach.

An experienced coach takes over

Craig Kuligowski is a seasoned coach with over 30 years of experience in American football. He has worked at prestigious universities like Toledo, Alabama, Miami, and Missouri, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team. Throughout his career, Kuligowski has mentored many players who went on to have successful NFL careers, earning him recognition as one of the best defensive line coaches in the NCAA. His impressive track record includes 13 championship rings across various conferences and the development of multiple All-American players.

Can this experienced and talented coach turn things around for the Panthers and transform their disappointing season into a positive one?
