The Munich Ravens continue to build their roster for the 2025 season, and with the signing of Dominik Schmid, they have made a strong move. Last season, Schmid played for the Allgäu Comets in the GFL, where he established himself as a true tackling machine.
One of the top tacklers in the GFL
In the German Football League, the German linebacker impressed with 118 tackles, two sacks, one interception, and three forced fumbles in just 13 games. With these numbers, he ranked third in total tackles across the entire league.
A key piece for a strong defense
The Ravens hope that Schmid will be a key addition in their efforts to build another dominant defense. Last season, Munich had the fewest allowed yards in the ELF and ranked as the fourth-best defense in terms of points allowed.
Now, all eyes are on the Munich Ravens’ defense to see if they can repeat their success and remain one of the top defensive units in the league.
