Munich Ravens re-sign Enis Kaser: "We showed what Football Bavaria is capable of"

The Munich Ravens top-tackler returns to the Bavarian capital.

Next contract extensions for the Munich Ravens. With Enis Kaser and Jonas Gürntke, two defensive players of the Bavarian franchise in the European League of Football in 2023 were extended by the team.

Sean Shelton, Director of Sports of the Munich Ravens: "Enis and Jonas were two of our core players in our defensive backfield last season. Both players play an aggressive form of football that will be the identity of our defense going forward."

Getting back a homegrown-standout

Kaser, 27-years-old, was the Munich Ravens' top tackler with 70 tackles in 12 games. In addition, he had one sack, two interceptions and 5 tackles for loss of space. Gürntke, 23-years-old, made 35 tackles in seven appearances before an injury ended his season prematurely. Kaser: "Last year we showed what Football Bavaria is capable of. The upcoming season can only get better, and I want to contribute to that with my skill set."

Gürntke: "I'm looking forward to continuing to represent my home - Munich and Bavaria. I want to continue to develop as a player under Coach Kendral Ellison. For me, the Munich Ravens are 'the place to be'." The 3rd team in the Central Conference last year has already re-signed homegrown key-players like Johannes Zirngibl or Tizian Vogl, while setting themselves up for the future under new head coach Kendral Ellison.
