Ludvig Myren re-signs with Berlin Thunder

For Berlin Thunder, the goal seems clear: Keep the top performers. With Ludvig Myren, another import player has been signed for the upcoming season after the extension with Kyle Kitchens. The defense of Christopher Kuhfeldt gets back another key player. With 115 total tackles (2nd in the league) and 15.5 tackles for loss (7th in the league), Myren is one of the top linebackers in Europe.

"There’s a thunderstorm coming. Berlin Thunder is the definition of grit, and it shows from turning a program around from one of the bottom teams in the league to a playoff team. We ain’t here to participate, we’re coming to take over." said Ludvig Myren.

Excelling in physicality and IQ

In his second year in the league, the nearly 100-kg defenender has made some arguments for a comeback. Since his first game for the German capital franchise, Myren has been active in 23 of 23 games and consistently secured a starting spot. Myren, who along with Paul Seifert, was voted the internal Co-Defensive MVP, might still be one of the youngest starting linebackers in the ELF at the age of 22, but has excelled so far for Berlin Thunder with his playmaking intelligence and physicality. Thunder fans can certainly be happy about this contract extension.
