Lions sign long-time NFL Coach "Golden" Pat Ruel

The Prague Lions have made a notable addition to their coaching staff. "Golden" Pat Ruel will join the team as Offensive Line and Assistant Head Coach. Ruel brings a lot of experience with him. After all, he took on his first coaching job back in 1973 as an offensive line graduate assistant at the University of Miami.

Rule has specialized in the O-Line and has coached at prestigious colleges such as Washington State, Texas A&M, Kansas and Michigan State. He also coached 13 years in the NFL. He was offensive line coach for the Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Buffalo Bills and New York Giants.

During his nine years with the Seattle Seahawks as assistant offensive line coach, he won a Super Bowl. Ruel actually ended his coaching career in 2020. Now he is returning from retirement for the Lions.
