The Hamburg Sea Devils have a new head coach: Lee Rowland, previously the team's offensive coordinator, will take over as the team's sporting director effective immediately. The British football veteran brings over 40 years of experience in European and American football and succeeds Shuan Fatah, who is stepping down from his position effective immediately.
The Hamburg Sea Devils and Shuan Fatah have mutually agreed to end their collaboration. In recent weeks, the club has intensively analyzed the sporting situation and strategic direction. During open and constructive discussions with Shuan Fatah, it became clear that their ideas regarding the team's future development do not coincide on all points. In order to make necessary structural changes and provide stability to the team, the joint decision to end the collaboration was made.
The Hamburg Sea Devils expressly thank Shuan Fatah for his commitment and his work. Even in his short tenure, he was able to provide important impetus and guide the team with professionalism. The club wishes him continued success and all the best for his professional and personal future.
