Former coach Kirk Heidelberg is back with the Cologne Centurions in the European League of Football. He will support the franchise as an advisor in the upcoming season.

"We're thrilled to have our former head coach rejoin the Cologne Centurions as Senior Advisor for the 2025 season. His experience and expertise will bring us forward on and off the field", the franchise posted on Instagram.

Heidelberg has been active as an American Football coach in Germany since many years. Among other things, he was head coach of the Cologne Centurions in 2021. In 2022, he became Offensive Coordinator for the ELF team Hamburg Sea Devils. In June 2022, Heidelberg parted ways with the Hamburg franchise due to health reasons.
