Helvetic Mercenaries sign two defensive veterans

Following their first victory of the season (16-10 against Milano Seamen), the Helvetic Mercenaries were still looking to improve their roster. The Swiss franchise has brought in more experience on the defensive side of the ball.

Benjamin Egbudiwe will look to strenghten the defensive line. The Swedish-born brings a lot of experience with him, having played in multiple european leagues. He was released by the Barcelona Dragons prior to the start of this season and has now found himself a new opportunity.

While he will look to get to the quarterback, new signing Ibel Ahidazan will try to intercept the opposing passer. The cornerback most recently played for the Paris Musketeers and now will take his talents to Switzerland. In a corresponding move, they have released offensive liner Maxime Roussel.
