"He was better than most of the Americans" - ELF star Lenny Krieg performed at the NFL Combine

ELF kicker Lenny Krieg is one step closer to his goal of playing in the world's most prestigious American football league, the NFL. The Stuttgart Surge kicker was invited to the NFL Scouting Combine as part of the NFL International Pathway Program.

And Krieg knew how to convince. The 22-year-old converted all of his 14 field goal attempts from various distances between 35 and 55 yards. Krieg was the only kicker on the day to make no mistakes.

According to a report by ESPN, the ELF star immediately caught the attention of several NFL scouts. “He was better than most of the Americans,” says one of them. Krieg was therefore able to deliver and has a good chance of actually making the move to the NFL.

Before him, two other former ELF players, Adedayo Odeleye (formerly Thunder, now Baltimore Ravens) and Marcel Dabo (formerly Surge, now Indianapolis Colts), have already achieved this. In addition to Krieg, offensive tackle Leander Wiegand (Munich Ravens), defensive back Maceo Beard (Paris Musketeers) and punter Bastian Roppelt (Frankfurt Galaxy) are also part of this year's NFL IPP program.
