Hamburg Sea Devils sign NFL minicamp invitee Caleb Mills

The Hamburg Sea Devils have found their new US safety in Caleb Mills. The 26-year-old was most recently active at New Mexico State College (2018-2021), where he was responsible for 84 tackles and two interceptions in his senior year. In 2022, he received an invitation to the Carolina Panthers' mini camp. Four new US-imports will work for both new coordinators - while there is still a roster spot open for an A-player.

"I give thanks to God"

"First off, I give thanks to God, for without none of this would be possible! It’s a blessing to be offered an opportunity to continue to play the amazing game of football. I'm thankful to join a successful organization who has thrived in previous years! Through conversations, I believe we have a great coaching staff, as well as great players! Looking forward to a successful season with this team. Glad To Be A Sea Devil." says the 97 kg, 1.95 m tall Mills, who was born and raised in Gastonia, North Carolina.

"Perfect fit"

Miguel Boock, Director of Sports: "Caleb is a 'playmaker'. He is not only an extremely physical player, but also an outstanding athlete who has the ability to cover a large area of the field with his speed and instincts. We think his energy and style of play will be a perfect fit for our defense."
