Global market leader Ticketmaster remains exclusive ticketing partner of the European League of Football until 2029

ELF boss Karajica: "A strong signal for the league"

Two strong partners continue their successful path together: The European League of Football has agreed to extend its cooperation with Ticketmaster until 2029. The world's leading provider of ticketing solutions will continue to support the "Champions League" of European football and its franchises as official ticketing partner.

"Ticketmaster is a valuable supporter"

"This is a strong signal for the future of our league, and I'm delighted that a partner from the very beginning is staying loyal to us. Ticketmaster believed in the potential of the ELF even before the first kickoff in 2021 - and we delivered. We will continue to work together to offer a customized platform that leaves nothing to be desired digitally for the football family. Ticketmaster is a valuable supporter, especially in view of the upcoming expansion of our league in Europe," says Zeljko Karajica, Managing Director of the ELF.

"As a long-term partner of the National Football League, the NFL Games in London and the NFL Games in Germany, we were enthusiastic about the idea of a continental football league in Europe. We are proud to be able to continue to actively support the ELF and the participating teams over the next five years in exploiting their attendance potential even more," says Timo Skrzypski, Vice President Sports Business Development Europe at Ticketmaster.

Records that could be broken in 2024

In the 2021 (under coronavirus conditions), 2022 and 2023 seasons, the European League of Football sold almost 800,000 tickets on the Ticketmaster platform. The games between the Hamburg Sea Devils and Rhein Fire in front of 32,500 spectators in the Volksparkstadion in the regular season and the most recent Championship Game between Rhein Fire and Stuttgart Surge in front of 31,500 in the Schauinsland-Reisen Arena in Duisburg showed that the league has won the hearts of fans right from the start.

Records that will be broken in the upcoming 2024 season: The Sea Devils will play one home game each in Hamburg and at the wohninvest Weserstadion in Bremen, the Cologne Centurions will host four games at the Tivoli Aachen and the Championship Game will take place on September 22 at the VELTINS-Arena of the traditional soccer club FC Schalke 04.

The fourth season of the European League of Football begins in May 2024. It will feature 17 teams from nine nations, including Berlin Thunder, Rhein Fire, Frankfurt Galaxy, Hamburg Sea Devils, Cologne Centurions, Stuttgart Surge, Munich Ravens (all Germany), Paris Musketeers (France), Milano Seamen (Italy), Raiders Tirol, Vienna Vikings (both Austria), Panthers Wrocław (Poland), Madrid Bravos, Barcelona Dragons (both Spain), Prague Lions (Czech Republic), Helvetic Guards (Switzerland) and the Fehérvár Enthroners (Hungary). The Championship Game will take place on September 22nd in the VELTINS-Arena of FC Schalke 04 in Gelsenkirchen.
