Frankfurt Galaxy have introduced their next A-import. Cornerback Shyheim Battle will strengthen the German team's backfield next season.

“Take me to a place I can’t imagine! Thank you Frankfurt Galaxy for believing in me”, says Battle. He adds: “Its not many opportunities you get to keep chasing the dream. Thanks to Frankfurt Galaxy, the dream is still alive. I’m excited about this journey. I will leave no doubt.“

Battle began his football career at Rocky Mount High School in North Carolina. He then transferred to NCAA college North Carolina State. He started 41 games for the Wolfpack and threw seven interceptions.

After graduating, he even made it into the NFL. Battle completed the rookie mini camp with the New York Jets. Now the move to the Galaxy and the European League of Football. Battle joining quartback Matthew McKay as the second Galaxy US-Import this offseason.
