Frankfurt Galaxy will play its season opener at Stadion am Bieberer Berg

The 2024 ELF season for the Frankfurt Galaxy will kick off with a thrilling game against the current champions, Rhein Fire, at their home ground. This highly anticipated match-up between the two fierce rivals, which has been a spectacle from both a sports and fan perspective, will not take place at the PSD Bank Arena but instead at the Stadion am Bieberer Berg in Offenbach. The stadium has a seating capacity of over 20,000, nearly double that of the PSD Bank Arena, and is just 10 kilometers away from the regular home venue.

The last times the two teams faced each other, over 12,500 fans were present at the season opener at the Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena, and the Galaxy sold over 10,000 tickets for the game at PSD Bank Arena in Week 14, making it the biggest sports event at their venue in eight years.
