Frankfurt Galaxy part ways with QB Jakeb Sullivan

In a somewhat surprising move, the Frankfurt Galaxy has parted ways with starting quarterback Jakeb Sullivan. The former Division II quarterback and GFL All-Star spent all three ELF seasons with the Galaxy, winning Offensive Player of the Year, an ELF Championship and Championship Game MVP in 2021.

The Galaxy signal caller suffered injuries in back-to-back seasons, playing in just 75% of regular season games. Nonetheless, Sullivan ranks second all-time in completions (561) and third all-time in passing yards (6644) and passing touchdowns (70). The 29-year-old will most likely be a sawn after free agency target for multiple ELF franchises.

After already parting ways with offensive coordinator Patrick Griesheimer, it seems like the Galaxy is looking for a fresh start for their offense and it is unlikely that this will be the last change to their unit.
