Frankfurt Galaxy hires Tom Mason as defensive backs coach

Frankfurt Galaxy has added another highly experienced coach to their staff by hiring Tom Mason as their new defensive backs coach. Mason brings decades of coaching experience at both the college and professional levels, making him a valuable addition to the team.
A long and experienced career
Born in 1956 in Montana, Mason played as a linebacker at the University of Nevada before starting his coaching career. Over the years, he has worked with many teams in different roles, including defensive coordinator and linebackers coach. He has coached at several universities such as Boise State, Nevada, Fresno State, SMU, and Hawaii.
Mason also gained experience in professional football, coaching in the Canadian Football League (CFL) with the BC Lions and in alternative leagues like the XFL and the Alliance of American Football (AAF). Most recently, he was the linebackers coach at Central Michigan.
Bringing leadership to Frankfurt
Mason has also served as a head coach in the past. He was the interim head coach at Boise State in 1996 and at SMU in 2014. With his vast knowledge and leadership, Mason will help improve Frankfurt Galaxy’s defense for the upcoming season. His experience working with different defensive systems and players will be an important asset to the team.
