After just one year with the Tirol Raiders, Jakub Samel is returning to the Wroclaw Panthers In the future, he will take on the role of Head of Development and Scouting.

Samel joined the Panthers as offensive line coach in 2016. He was promoted to head coach for the 2020 season. Two years later, he took over the position of sports director. The team became Polish champions four times with Samels.

He needed a change of air for last season. So he moved to the Tirol Raiders. Here he took over as Defensive Assistant and Special Team Assistant on Head Coach Jim Herrmann's staff. Now the return to the Panthers 

„After discussions with the Board and Coach Kuligowski, I am excited to return to the Panthers organisation. The new position comes with great responsibility and new tasks and challenges. Each one has a single goal - to take the entire organisation to an even higher level,” Samel says.
