Enthroners sign promising DB Miles Butt

The Fehérvár Enthroners are strengthening their secondary with an E-import. Defensive back Miles Butt will play for the Hungarians next season. 

The 21-year-old Briton trained at the SGS Bristol PRIDE American Football Academy, where he became National Champion in 2022. He also played at the University of Nottingham.

Butt receives NFL scholarship

In 2023, the young football player received a sports scholarship from the Jacksonville Jaguars. With the “UK Gridiron Grant Recipient”, the NFL team aims to support upcoming athletes in the United Kingdom.

“Winning the Gridiron Grant was important to me as it has allowed me to further both my athletic and academic careers while alleviating the financial burden of going to university and wholeheartedly focus on my sport and studies. I am very grateful to have been selected", explains Butt in a statement.

Moving on to Germany

After his time at university, the DB moved to Germany. With the Potsdam Royals, he won the German Bowl of the German Football League. Now the new chapter in the European League of Football. 

Here Butt will line up between experienced homegrowns and ELF all-time interception leader Goran Zec.
