Extension with ORF for 2025: European League of Football strengthen airtime on Austrian Free TV with ORF and PULS 24
The European League of Football (ELF) will continue to be showcased on Austria’s big TV stage in 2025. Beside the current and long term partnership with PULS 24, the partnership with Austrian public broadcaster ORF has also been extended, marking another milestone in the growing popularity of American Football across Europe.
As part of the 2025 season, ORF Sport+ is broadcasting again three selected ELF games live on free TV - including the highly anticipated "Battle of Austria" between the Vienna Vikings and the Raiders Tirol on June 7.
This agreement further strengthens ELF’s media presence in Austria and complements the existing broadcast deal with PULS 24. With ORF on board, the league gains access to a wider audience and solidifies its position in the national sports landscape.
"This is another major milestone for our league and fantastic news for football fans in Austria. We’re proud to have secured ORF as a strong and reliable partner who helps us bring the ELF to a broader audience on free TV", said Zeljko Karajica, Managing Director of the European League of Football.

With two live appearances each for the Vienna Vikings and Raiders Tirol, ORF brings Austria’s top franchises directly into living rooms across the country.
"The ELF has taken the hearts of Football fans in Europe by storm and is generating significant interest in Austria as well. With the Vienna Vikings and Raiders Tirol, we have two strong teams on the field that can now be seen live on ORF Sport+. Our extension of the successful partnership in 2024 is a strong signal for the sport", said Johannes Aigelsreiter, Head of Sports at ORF.
