ELF Power Ranking after Week 3

After an eventful third week in the European League of Football, it's time to take a fresh look at how the teams stack up. From championship rematches to dominant shutouts, Week 3 delivered plenty of storylines that shaped this updated Power Ranking.
1. Vienna Vikings
Previous Ranking: 2
The Vienna Vikings got their revenge for the 2024 Championship Game by defeating Rhein Fire with an impressive defensive performance. Holding Fire to just 7 points, the Vikings proved they are currently the hottest team in the league.
2. Stuttgart Surge
Previous Ranking: 4
Stuttgart bounced back strong after their Week 2 loss by dominating the Hamburg Sea Devils. Scoring in all three phases and shutting down the Sea Devils’ dangerous run game, Surge made a powerful statement.
3. Nordic Storm
Previous Ranking: 5
The Nordic Storm are now 3-0 in their debut season — joining the Vikings and Munich Ravens as the only undefeated teams. Their defense was lights out in Week 3, shutting out Berlin in their first-ever home game. Now, they can rest during their well-earned bye week.
4. Rhein Fire
Previous Ranking: 1
Fire drop after a frustrating offensive showing against the Vikings, scoring just one touchdown. They’ve only played two games so far, but their 24 total points is a far cry from the explosive Fire we’ve seen in previous seasons.
5. Munich Ravens
Previous Ranking: 6
Even with a bye week, the Ravens rise in the rankings. Their physical defense and big-play offense have impressed, and they’ll get a real test in Week 4 when they take on Stuttgart Surge.
6. Frankfurt Galaxy
Previous Ranking: 7
A last-second field goal gave Frankfurt the edge over Paris. Matthew McKay and the offense were explosive early, while the defense dominated for most of the game. Though they nearly let it slip away, Galaxy showed they can contend with the league’s best.
7. Paris Musketeers
Previous Ranking: 3
Despite a late comeback, the Musketeers' offense struggled for most of the game. Their defense couldn’t hold Frankfurt early either. They’ll need to find consistency on both sides to rise again.
8. Madrid Bravos
Previous Ranking: 8
The Bravos earned their second win of the season, but defensive issues remain. They’ve now given up 35+ points in two straight games. Until their defense improves, it’s hard to rank them any higher.

9. Raiders Tirol
Previous Ranking: 10
The Raiders continue to lean on their dominant run game and defense. Even without Conor Miller, they cruised to victory in Week 3. With N’Kosi Perry back under center, they’ll face their biggest test yet in the “Battle of Austria” vs. Vienna.
10. Wroclaw Panthers
Previous Ranking: 9
The Panthers slide one spot during their bye week, as the Raiders earned another win and added a new QB. Wroclaw will need to prove themselves again in Week 4 against Prague.
11. Hamburg Sea Devils
Previous Ranking: 11
Hamburg stay in the same spot despite a tough loss to Stuttgart. Most of the points they allowed came from self-inflicted mistakes. If they can clean those up, they have the tools to climb.
12. Prague Lions
Previous Ranking: 13
Prague earn their first win and move up a spot. Adam Zouzelka stood out on offense, but QB Javarian Smith still struggles to get the passing game going. Week 4 vs. Wroclaw is a key test.
13. Berlin Thunder
Previous Ranking: 12
Thunder drop after a shutout loss to Nordic Storm. The injuries to Bryce Goggin and Jakeb Sullivan make things even tougher. They need a strong showing in Week 4 to bounce back.
14. Helvetic Mercenaries
Previous Ranking: 14
The Mercenaries are still searching for their first win, but at least the offense showed signs of life with 35 points. The defense, however, remains a concern — allowing 44+ points in every game.
15. Fehérvár Enthroners
Previous Ranking: 15
With QB Brock Domann on IR, homegrown Máté Hegedüs is leading the offense. New imports Jon Cole and Rashad Still give him weapons, but we still need to see results before they rise.
16. Cologne Centurions
Previous Ranking: 16
Cologne stay at the bottom. The QB situation remains unclear, and the defense has struggled all season. They'll need big changes to escape the basement.
As we head into Week 4, the league is beginning to take shape — but with key matchups ahead, expect more movement in the Power Rankings soon.
