Cologne Centurions announce head coach Gregg Brandon

Cologne Centurions present former Division I offensive coordinator Gregg Brandon as the new head football coach for the 2024 season. The 67-year-old brings instant experience after working in football for over 40 years. Additionally, the Centurions have acquired the services of offensive line coach Greg Strudawa, former Ohio State and LSU offensive line guru.

Expertise at the highest level

After not retaining Christos Lambropoulos as head coach, the Centurions have found a solid solution for the future. Brandon worked as the offensive coordinator for Bowling Green, Virginia, Wyoming, New Mexico State and most recently the Colorado Mines, winning 2 of 3 Bowl games in his coaching tenure at diverse colleges. Being a part of the Urban Meyer coaching staff between 2000 and 2002, the US-American will bring his expertise as offensive coordinator also to Cologne.

Known football coaches

Also being involved in the Urban Meyer coaching staff was new offensive line coach Greg Strudawa. Having worked as the offensive coordinator and OL-coach for Wilmington, Bowling Green or LSU, both coaches have known each other for two decades. With defensive coordinator Jag Bal, the franchise has presented all important coordinators.
