Two strong partners continue their way together! Those responsible for the European League of Football have agreed with CITIZEN Watch Europe GmbH to continue the successful cooperation that began in May 2023 in the coming year. The Hamburg-based watch manufacturer will also be the official Game Time Presenter of the continental league in the 2024 season.

The extension of the cooperation shows that our league is perceived as a very attractive product with a highly relevant target group. The watch manufacturer became a partner in the summer before the start of the third season of the "Champions League" of European football. During the talks, both sides quickly realized that the company's brand philosophy, "Better starts now", was a very good fit for the ELF, as League Managing Director Zeljko Karajica emphasizes: "It is always possible to do something better and now is the time to start."

CITIZEN will remain the official Game Time Presenter of the European League of Football with a strong presence in the Game Pass and during TV broadcasts as well as in the stadiums. In addition, the Most Valuable Players of the respective match days as well as the winner of the ELF Honors will continue to be honored with exclusive prizes as part of the Championship Game weekend.

The fourth season of the European League of Football begins in May 2024. It will feature 17 teams from nine nations, including Berlin Thunder, Rhein Fire, Frankfurt Galaxy, Hamburg Sea Devils, Cologne Centurions, Stuttgart Surge, Munich Ravens (all Germany), Paris Musketeers (France), Milano Seamen (Italy), Raiders Tirol, Vienna Vikings (both Austria), Panthers Wroclaw (Poland), Madrid Bravos, Barcelona Dragons (both Spain), Prague Lions (Czech Republic), Helvetic Guards (Switzerland) and the Fehérvár Enthroners (Hungary). The Championship Game will take place on September 22nd in the VELTINS-Arena of FC Schalke 04 in Gelsenkirchen.
