Centurions sign Running Back Umar Ayuba Tairou

New Running Back for the Cologne Centurions! Umar Ayuba Tairou signs a contract with the team from the West Division. 

"First of all, I would like to say thank you to the whole Centurions Organization and to Coach Jay for reaching out and giving me such a big opportunity”, says Tairoi. He adds: “As an athlete, I will give my best to put the whole team back on the map. Through this opportunity, I will just try to make the best out of it. My goal is to win games all season long and hopefully winning myself the Offensive Rookie of the Year Award. Less said, more done. Let’s get to work."

The 22-year-old is considered highly talented. Most recently, the player from Ghana showed his skills with the Münster Blackhawks in the German Football League 2.
