Bravos place rising star Justus Seelig on injured reserve

The Madrid Bravos have announced that running back Justus Seelig has been placed on the injured reserve list. The 20-year-old German-American will miss at least the next three weeks, which means he won’t be available again until Week 9 at the earliest.

Young talent making big plays

Seelig was off to a strong start this season and quickly became one of the most exciting young players in the league. In just four games, he rushed for 141 yards and one touchdown. But even more impressive was his performance as a receiver — he recorded 344 receiving yards and scored three touchdowns.

Catching attention beyond the ELF

His standout performances have not gone unnoticed. Seelig has already received two Division I college offers — one from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and another from the United States Military Academy at West Point.

What comes next in Seelig’s career remains open, but his future looks bright. For now, the Bravos will have to manage without one of their most dynamic offensive weapons.
