Berlin Thunder re-sign Kyle Kitchens

Kyle Kitchens has signed a new contract with Berlin Thunder for the 2024 season. The two-time DPOY in 2021 and 2022 has found his permanent home in the German capital. At 27-years-old, the US-American ELF veteran still holds the record for most sacks (16) and tackles for loss (33.5) in a season, now returning for a third year to Berlin.

"Capture the dream"

"To all the fans, it is going to take a team to capture the dream. Thank you for the support. We see us in 2024. Feel the THUNDER!", said Kyle Kitchens after the official announcement.

Being one, maybe the focal point of Christopher Kuhfeldt's defense, Kitchens could once again cause havoc in opposing backfields. Since joining the league, playing for the Leipzig Kings, Kitchens has 43.5 sacks, 148 total tackles and 75 tackles for loss. Absurd.
