All nominees for the ELF Honors Show 2023 announced
As the European League of Football is heading into the second playoff-weekend of the 2023 season, all nominees for the official STETSON Honors Show 2023 were announced. The STETSON Honors Show will mark the highlight for all nominated players and their fans every year. On Saturday, September 23, the ELF is bringing football Europe together in the Castello Arena in Düsseldorf, before the Championship Game of the season will take place in the Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena in Duisburg the day after.
While many new names find a place in this year's list, old acquaintances are also back. For example, previous Coach of the Year Andrew Weidinger was nominated for the Assistant Coach of the Year as Rhein Fire's Offensive Coordinator with the strongest offense. Two-time Defensive Player of the Year Kyle Kitchens is also nominated again for the award. He was one of the most outstanding players of the 2023 season with a dominating 15 sacks. Louis Geyer, 2021 Rookie of the Year, is another former award winner who finds his place in the newly introduced Homegrown of the Year category. This year again, there will also be an additional Man of Honor of the Year award, which was created for outstanding achievements off the field.
