The US-American joins the Panthers after the ending of the Leipzig Kings' season. "Wrocław is a fantastic city, and Panthers are a great organization. With 84 tackles in the current season, the 28-year-old veteran still leads the league in tackles after missing three weeks. For the last four regular-season games, the Panthers can use Wentland's play making ability to make another playoff push. "Our goal is to build a top organization in Europe – that's why we reached an agreement with A.J. Wentland to play in Wrocław. This caliber of player will undoubtedly help us reach an even higher level of performance. The numbers clearly show that he is the best player in his position in Europe. The contract with Wentland is part of our long-term development strategy, so it will also be valid for the next season", said Michał Latoś, president of the Panthers.
In the meantime, import player Solomon Brown was placed on IR, with linebacker Wentland being an instant replacement.
