A homecoming for WR Jean-Claude Madin Cerezo in Hamburg
Jean-Claude Madin Cerezo is back in Hamburg! One of ELF’s original homegrown stars returns to his first ELF team in Hamburg as the Sea Devils look to a familiar face as they hope to get back to contender status.
The 32-year old veteran receiver, spent the 2021-2023 seasons with the Sea Devils and was part of two straight championship game appearances with the team. During his three years with the Sea Devils Madin Cerezo put up 88 catches for 1,139 yards and 10 touchdowns.
The son of a Spaniard and Cameroonian started playing football in Hamburg as a teenager with the Hamburg Huskies before taking his passion internationally playing in Spain and then college football both in the USA and Mexico.
Last season the proven veteran had his best statistical season yet for the Bravos putting up 32 catches and a career high 607 yards and 7 touchdowns. Ironically his biggest game came against the Sea Devils last year as he scored three touchdowns and had 212 yards in the week 11 matchup.
The Hamburg native is thrilled to be back playing for his hometown under new head coach Shuan Fatah. The Sea Devils have already signed several intriguing new players including American receiver Terryon Robinson, 3X defensive player of the year Kyle Kitchens, and former All-Star defensive back Roedion Henrique.
