Top Signings of the Week – Sea Devils land playmaker and more

Do you wonder what players were the real steals over the past two weeks? Then this is just the right place for you!

The European League of Football heads towards its third season. All 18 franchises are looking for the best players available in Europe and from around the world. But what franchise won the past two weeks with its mind-blowing signings?

Vikings re-sign valuable pieces to their offense

The Vienna Vikings did it again. Most of their offseason signing and re-signing are not surprising but still important on their quest to repeat their success of last season.

The reigning European League of Football Champion extended left tackle Aleksandar Milanovic who is one of the best at his position in Europe! At 201cm and 129kg, the tall will be ready to protect the blindside of his quarterback once again next season.

Next to Milanovic, the Vikings also re-signed a wide receiver that will make the job of Vikings quarterback Chris Helbig a lot easier. Weston Carr has extended his contract with the Vikings for another year.

The American wideout and Penn State product suffered a season-ending injury in preseason of the 2022 season and was therefore out for the remainder of the year. However, Carr will be back on the field for the Vikings this season. After injury, he will now try to be the explosive piece that the Austrian franchise saw in him a year ago.

Have you seen this yet?

Sea Devils sign former Panthers wideout

I know the next two news broke over a week ago. But there are certain players that just have to mentioned and talked about. Just as new Sea Devils wideout Malik Stanley.

The 2022 Panther has now joined the Sea Devils in the Western Conference. The 190cm tall and 102kg heavy wideout is one of the best in the league when it comes to catching 50/50 balls.

The Sea Devils must have been impressed by Stanley’s performance against him in 2022. With nine targets, nine catches, 144 yards and three receiving touchdowns in one game against the German franchise, the Sea Devils probably just couldn’t help themselves and sign the 25-year-old wideout to their roster for the upcoming season.

Centurions land one of the best wideouts of last season

Another great wide receiver to switch teams is Terryon Robinson. After playing with the Istanbul Rams in 2022, the American playmaker has signed with the Cologne Centurions in the Western Conference.

In only six games with the Turkish franchise, Robinson racked up over 800 receiving yards and eight receiving touchdowns. Proving to be a difference maker for an otherwise poorly playing team, the Centurions took their chance to land one of the most promising wideouts for the upcoming season and they did.

Let’s see what Robinson can do with American quarterback Daniel Smith under center in 2023!
